Wristbands offer more than just an effortless way to verify guest status at an event or venue. In fact, they can also be used to identify information about a person or animal. Just as a hospital might use wristbands to notate a patient’s allergy to a medication, wristbands can be used to communicate information about a pet while receiving care at a vet clinic. They can also be used by humane societies, groomers, and boarding facilities. We offer two types of wristbands that can be used as animal ID bands.
Types of Animal Id bands
Plastic animal id bands
Plastic wristbands make excellent animal ID bands because they are manufactured for durability and reliability. To use plastic wristbands as temporary collars, simply place it around the animal’s neck and fasten it using the snap lock. To choose the correct notch to which you will lock the band, make sure you can fit two of your fingers comfortably between the neck and the band to ensure that it is not too tight. You can also create a large collar by fastening multiple bands together to accommodate larger pets. These bands can be used for up to seven days.
Tyvek animal id bands
Tyvek wristbands are the ideal low-cost solution for short-term use. Tyvek wristbands are perfect for groomers and outpatient veterinary care. Our Tyvek wristbands are paper-like but are made from durable synthetic fibers that are tear-resistant and waterproof. Best of all, they can be written on with a marker, making it easy to communicate essential information about the animal. Tyvek wristbands feature a secure adhesive which prevents accidental removal, even if wet. Use Tyvek wristbands for up to three days.
